James Webb Telescope Doesn't Disagree With The Big Bang Theory As A Hoax

Illustration of the universe. A scam has been spread claiming that the James Webb telescope refutes the Big Bang theory.

The Big Bang theory is said to have been disproved by the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST). But it came out that the story was a hoax or fake news.

Previously, a phony astrophysicist quote that was used to spread a misleading narrative about the JWST news that challenged the idea of the universe's birth in August of last year. According to this story, the Big Bang never truly occurred.

The source cited in the text is Allison Kirkpatrick, an astrophysicist at the University of Kansas.

According to the NASA website, scientists use the Big Bang theory to explain how the universe first came into being. According to the hypothesis, the cosmos was once singular and has since grown larger and longer to reach its present size and continue to do so.

The Institute of Art and Ideas, which originally published the story, is now republishing it on mainstream news websites. The Big Bang idea was deemed wrong by the article and was refuted by JWST studies of far-off galaxies.

By removing context from what Kirkpatrick instructed the magazine Nature to publish, the news was made worse. Thus, it appears as though astrophysicists are in a panic because they believe the Big Bang theory to be false.

Independent researcher Eric Lerner wrote the piece while reporting from space. Since the late 1980s, he has rejected the Big Bang theory in favor of his own pseudoscientific alternative.

Lerner even penned a book titled "The Big Bang Never Happened" in 1991 before publishing an article disputing the Big Bang on August 11.

Kirkpatrick remarked, "I glanced at it and thought, 'This is bad, but also absurd, no one is going to read this.'"

Then he exclaimed, "The next thing I know, everyone's read it."

In addition to being revised by a number of major news outlets, Lerner's piece from CNET was widely shared on Twitter and Facebook in the middle of August.

Even though it has only been in operation for a short while, the James Webb Space Telescope has already produced some significant discoveries, including the identification of some of the oldest galaxies ever seen, which are thought to have formed 200 million years after the Big Bang.

The galaxy may not be as far away as one may imagine due to issues with equipment calibration, but JWST will almost probably surpass the previous record for shooting the farthest galaxy.

JWST just succeeded in taking its first image of an exoplanet. This outer planet is six to eight times larger than Jupiter but has a profile similar to Jupiter.
