The lawsuit charging Elon Musk of operating a Dogecoin pyramid scheme is escalating. The case has six defendants and seven new plaintiffs.

The Dogecoin Foundation is one of the most recent defendants. This non-profit organization oversees and supports Dogecoin.

The $258 billion complaint, which was launched in June, asserts that Elon Musk's businesses, including Tesla, SpaceX, and Boring, knowingly increased Dogecoin's price by more than 36,000% over a two-year period. But then, according to Reuters, on Thursday, August 9, 2022, let that value collapse.

According to the complaint, the defendants profited tens of billions of dollars from the conspiracy. On the other hand, they are aware that Dogecoin depends on marketing and has no intrinsic worth.

Tesla reported that he was unable to immediately contact the Dogecoin Foundation for comment. Additionally, demands for response from Tesla, SpaceX, and Boring were not promptly fulfilled.

While this was going on, Reuters also mentioned that Tesla ended its media relations in 2020.

Elon Musk tweeted that he would keep supporting Dogecoin after the lawsuit. According to the lawsuit, "those who work around the SpaceX or Tesla plants" requested this assistance, citing an interview.

The predicted fall in Dogecoin's market value since May 2021 is three times the $258 billion loss. On the Weekend Update section of Saturday Night Live at the time, Elon Musk portrayed a fictitious financial advisor and referred to Dogecoin as a crowd.
